October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Glenrose Plumbing of Eastern Washington and North Idaho have joined forces with plumbers, electricians and HVAC service providers on an international level to fight breast cancer.

On October 1, 2009, our employees will be going "Passionately Pink" for the Cure® to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer.

Glenrose Plumbing is a member of Nexstar, an international best practices organization focused on providing training and support to companies offering superior plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical services. Nexstar members are orchestrating this effort with a commitment to community service and a desire to help combat this devastating disease.

Mike Collett, owner of Glenrose Plumbing & Heating is pleased to have the opportunity to support this worthy cause on a large scale. "I'm pleased to donate a portion of each service sale from now through the end of October to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, an organization committed to research, awareness and education. This disease has invaded the lives of people I care about, making me even more compelled to stop it." If you would like to contribute to our team goal online at www.passionatelypink.org, our team name is "Glenrose Plumbing". In return for your online contribution, you will get a pink ribbon pin and the satisfaction of helping to move us closer to a world free of breast cancer.

Watch for pink ribbons and other visible signs of Glenrose Plumbing's fight against breast cancer within our community. Glenrose Plumbing & Heating offers a broad range of products and services in the Spokane and Coeur d' Alene areas and we are dedicated to service excellence in the industry.

CHRISTMAS TO A FAMILY IN NEED
It was our pleasure to have the opportunity to provide "Christmas" to a family in need this year. We were so blessed by having the ability to get back to the true meaning of Christmas and serve a really neat family during these difficult economic times.

The Women's and Children's Free Restaurant did a superb job matching us with a family we were truly able to connect with. Thank you, Marlene and Karen, for guiding us through this process.
